Kou Gang, professor and doctoral supervisor, has been selected into a number of national talent programs. He is currently a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, Dean of Big Data Research Institute of Southwest University of Finance and Economics, member of the National MBA Education Steering Committee, and an expert having special government allowances from the State Council. He presided over the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the major projects of the National Social Science Fund, and the key international cooperation projects of the National Science Fund. He has published more than 100 papers, which have been cited for more than ten thousand times in the past five years. He has won many national awards such as the first prize of natural science of the Ministry of Education and the second prize of national teaching achievements.
