Xu Zeshui， Professor of Sichuan University, Member of the European Academy of Sciences, Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Member of the International Academy of Systems and Control Sciences, Distinguished Fellow of the International Association of Engineering Technology; Fellow of 11 international authoritative associations such as International Association of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, International Association of Fuzzy Systems, Royal Society of Arts, Distinguished Professor of Changjiang Scholars, Winner of National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, Global Highly Cited Scientist, Chinese Highly Cited Scholar (ranked first in the field of computer science from 2014 to 2019), Candidates for the National Millions of Talents Project, young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions, experts enjoying special allowances from the State Council, etc. From 2021 to 2023, in the top 2% of the world's top scientists, he was ranked among the top 200 in the list of lifelong scientific influence (ranked 30th in the world in 2019, ranked first among Chinese scholars); in 2023, he was ranked 40th in the world's top computer scientists (ranked first among Chinese mainland scholars). He has been engaged in the research of intelligent decision-making, information fusion, fuzzy mathematics and optimization algorithms for a long time, and has systematically established the theory and method system of complex information decision-making. He has won the first Thomson Reuters China Citation Laureate Award, the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education (two first prizes and two-second prizes), and the Jiangsu Mathematics Outstanding Achievement Award.He has been the associate editor or editorial board member of more than 30 SSCI/SCI journals such as IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Information Sciences, Information Fusion, Applied Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Review and Cognitive Computation. Prof.Xu published 21 monographs in English by the Springer Publishing House. He released over 900 articles indexed by SSCI/SCI, including Nature series, IEEE Transactions, Energy Economics, Tourism Management, Omega, and EJOR.
